Flip Phones vs. Non-flip or Candy Bar Phones

Do you have hard time choosing between flip phones and candy bar phones? Which one is better for talking, texting, or surfing the web? These two types both have advantages on certain areas. For example, the keys are located on the front of a nonflip, that way it offers easy access to keypads and you can dial the number directly without opening or closing the "shell" on a flip phone. In addition, many function such as taking pictures and videos, listening to mp3 music can be done without the hassle of flip open a flipphone. Another advantage offered by candy bar phone is it can be made very thin given today's technology. However, a nonflip phone has the screen on the front, which can easily get scratched or damaged. On the other hand, a flip phone offers maximum protection on the inner screen, which can only be shown when you flip open the phone itself. Today, most of the flip phones have dual screen. One small on outside, one big on inside. One advantage of flip phones is the overall compact size and the ability to still offer big screen. So, which type is better. It really depends on the ways people use them. If you want a really thin phone, go for the nonflip phone. If you like overall compact feel with inner screen, go for the flip phone.
